You are invited!

“…we worship by God’s invitation and not by our own concoction.”

Dawn, Marva J. (2010-06-29). Reaching Out Without Dumbing Down: A Theology of Worship for This Urgent Time (p. 243). Eerdmans Publishing Co - A. Kindle Edition.

God is constantly inviting us into His presence to encounter Him. Our worship is not dependent on the style of music, the length of prayers, or the things we do. It is all dependent on a surrendered heart hungering to respond to a God that so lavishly loves us, saves us, and desires to empower us to be apart of His Kingdom building. We can orchestrate that. We can make it happen. We can only come expecting with a will to participate. I think that is why I love the Isaiah 6 passage so much.

God’s presence….

our sense of inadequacy…

our confession…

God’s holy cleansing…

God’s calling…

our response…

God’s empowerment with God’s word….even in the midst of struggle or danger

God invites us each into the same story. God invites us each to worship Him. Worship aligns us. Worship heals us. Worship unifies. Worship calls and sends us as we respond.

Shall we worship our God together?
